I can see what you were going for here, but to be fully honest it took me a moment to try to figure out what was going on here.
It's original and gets its point across, but the technique can probably use some improvement. Try to use a little less use of the line/ruler tool, as a start. It's pretty easy to tell that it was used. Maybe, at least, put them at a little bit of a smaller angle? It almost seems like the third baseline is almost vertical.
Secondly, I found it a bit difficult to figure out that Sonic seems to be the pitcher. Maybe put some indication that he's holding the ball, or in a set or windup?
And lastly, just general baseball things. Either round off the tip of the bat or make it flat-tipped. Bats often have indents in the tip. If Mario is stretching out before he goes up, shouldn't he be stepping out of the batter's box? In this case, Sonic could pitch anytime he wanted to; being in the box is an indication of being ready. And, maybe Mario should be wearing cleats?
