Description

I finally got around to trying pictures of my ideas for a Gemstuck Terezi, and after no less than three (???) days ofwork I got this done!

A few notes; this isn’t a traditional Gemstuck AU, with the trolls just being Gems, but a Terezi who was actually transformed into a half-Gem troll due to Weird Plot Shenanigans; transformative waves of a Mass Empowerment Event, the presence of a omnitrix-style shapeshifting weapon, and being on top of a Cluster all at the same time may have something to do with it.

Terezi is a black opa l; her body isn’t exactly a projection and is still technically organic but is largely made of projection energy infused into that organic matter. She might be able to regenerate but it would be far costlier than a Gem would find it, and is physically wounded by projection-disrupting attacks: they basically rust her flesh. However, she finds it easier to shapeshift than a standard Gem or even a hybrid like Steven. (Also, her organs are super weird now. More so than usual.)

Terezi’s Gem is actually located inside her head; her brain was transformed into her Gem and now forms the core of her body, with her eyes as bits of her gem extending out of her head. Her eyes are partly encrusted in pyrope, with large cracks between her eyes showing that they’re actually part of the same massive gemstone, and her body is generally a dark teal in coloration with an iridescent shiny effect similar to an opal. SHe has large cracks throughout her body as a result of damage she suffered during her transformation and possibly self-image problems. (They might flare up and shoot teal energy flames when she gets powered up, maybe?) Their insides tend to be filled with extensions of solidified magical energy resembling various minerals, generally teal-colored.

I haven’t fully committed to this color scheme: I’m open for suggestions and ideas! (Hopefully something easier and less complex to draw!

Standing next to her is a random anthropoid; he was gonna be a human but then I realized that I made Terezi too tall for that to make sense. She’s at least twice human size, but your standard human should about be as high as her hips at a least. This guy here is probably just a random critter noticeably shorter than a human.
