Georgia was in the riding hall free-lunging Balenci, a young Trakehner mare the stables had purchased to add to the show ring. She watched as the bright chestnut mare trotted freely around her in a circle, with the occasional buck. She was amazed that this mare had enough energy but then again the first thing that came to mind was the stereotypical view on Chestnut mares.

Georgia pulled her hair back off her face, flipping her hair forward and then tying it high on her head so it wouldn't be in the way. "Balenci, Canter!" She commanded, watching the mare kick it up a notch.
Balenci cantered around the blonde woman and whinnied loudly, throwing in another buck or so until she was scolded.

"No Balenci, No bucking!" Georgia snapped, putting her hands on her hips.
Balenci snorted and dropped her head, cantering normally and properly. She flicked her tail, ears swivelling to listen to the human stood to the side of her.
Georgia watched for a few laps and then spoke up again, sternly. "Woah girl, trot!" She waved one arm down so Balenci would get the picture and then continued to work her for a further 15 minutes before deciding enough was enough.

"Alright girl. Come here." She said softly.
The chestnut mare walked toward Georgia and stood still, waiting for her headcollar to be put back on. When it was finally on, she rested her head on Georgia's shoulder.
"Good girl, well done." Georgia clipped on the leadrope and walked Balenci out of the indoor arena, heading for the young mares field behind the showjumping arena. "Good girl. I am so proud." She cooed at Balenci, patting her shoulder and taking off her headcollar once they were in the field.

"See you later girl. Enjoy!"
