Description
This is pretty intense, I've never seeeen so many comments, I probably should explain this piece since there's so much interest in it!This was one of my first painting collaborations with my friend Allison, it is a portrait of her in the form of an abstract painting, the broken color, the bold lines, the energy of the colors all if it just... is her. She's a total nut and she and I had spent so many hours painting in the same studio together that it was about time we did a collaboration. (Not to mention she kept telling me what was wrong with my paintings and finally got fed up so she got this painting started for me and told me to finish it.) We did a great art trade and now we own each others paintings.
The painting was also inspired by Allison's favorite painter at the time, Beatriz Milhazes.
She started the painting with the large black shape in the lower right quarter.
Size:
20'' x 24''?? (I'd have to ask Allison.)
Materials:
Spray paint, India Ink, Acrylic Paint, Contact Paper, and Paint markers on Acrylic Plastic.

That's so gorgeous, for lack of better word. Lots of activity but a very peaceful sense in this piece. Plus I love the fact there is a female vibe attached to it through its title! Genius work!
