Description The text ranges from strategies and philosophies that are anecdotal or autobiographical and sometimes self-referential. By giving each idea its own day, the work brings about slow revelations starting with how we are engaged with the ordinary as well as the power of suggestion. The overall theme of the calendar is to challenge conventional forms of success and the creative process.

The ideas suggested on each page are meant to come off sharing more than one expects from a calendar that on first glance is as positive as a motivational poster. It sits absurdly and perhaps more appropriately in our work environment with its aims to promote a different worldview altogether that doesn’t suggest to have more fun at work and to do it better, but to rather abolish any other kind of work than play. The work is also meant to critique the idea of the “revolutionary” that is normally understood as a wave of changes on a national level meant to overhaul everything as we know it, towards one that is based in a realistic endeavour of upsetting the powers that be through our day-to-day personal decisions.

The phrases are ‘original’ unless it’s credited to another person and the work is updated each day and always containing a full year.
