I'm actually pretty happy with how this turned out
but my art still isn't where I want it to be.
I'll definitely be using her in future rp groups

Name: Astrophyllite
Nickname: Astro (only lets friends call her that)
Preferred Pronouns: she/her
Occupation: Crystal Gem (former Homeworld Gem)
Weapon: a large, jagged sword. The blade is made of her gemstone.
Special Abilities: Although Astro is blind, she is very in-tune with everything around her. She often practices meditation, which helps her keep in touch with the world around her. When in battle, Astro can very clearly sense her opponent and even predict what their next move will be.
Personality: Astro is a gem of few words. She tends to be quiet and rarely speaks unless she is either giving orders or interacting with people she is familiar with. Due to her lack of sight, it's very difficult to gain her trust. Astro often second-guesses people and constantly questions the intentions of others. She is a natural leader and commands with an iron fist. Astro is not one to joke around and often comes off as harsh and stern. She's fascinated by the music of earth and often listens to a variety of genres in her free time. Astro is loyal to those that she trusts and often puts the well-being of others before herself. She would put herself in harms way before allowing her friends to get hurt.
Background: Astro originally hails from Homeworld. She was sent to earth as a spy - her mission to wipe out the Crystal Gems occupying Beach City. However, she was discovered almost immediately and was taken in for questioning. After staying with the Crystal Gems for many months, she began to see things in a different way. Astro began to understand why they protected Earth and became fascinated with the humans inhabiting the planet. She soon started to question her faith in Homeworld. Why did they want to wipe out such an interesting, harmless species? The more Astro began to question Homeworld, the more she began to dislike it. After spending a year on Earth, Astro removed the diamonds from her clothing and added the star that all Crystal Gems seemed to have. She became a renegade and joined the Gems, agreeing to protect Earth at all costs.
