Description
Inspired by the book "After Man: a zoology of the future" (1981) by Dougal Dixon. Here is 1 of the many creatures he made up. The Testadon, a hedgehog-like creature that can roll up into a perfect sphere. I very much liked this creature so I drew my own fan art of it. Enjoy!Dougal Dixon's Website

IF anybody is left !
Lovecraft wrote a short story called "Memory" where two demons, both old, muse about some ruins and wonder about who built them. One of them recalls that long-gone ephemeral beings called "man" built them -and now such molder under moss. The mindless "little apes" in the trees look something like them, but whether they are descended from man or are just related, is not clear. The little apes are not evolving.
The poison serpents in the vaults beneath have not been exterminated to make it safe to use the vaults - because there is nobody to chop up the vicious serpents.
