I adored Fenyx from the game, Immortals: Fenyx Rising. She was beautiful, brave, funny, and worked extremely hard and suffered greatly to earn her power and status as a hero (something many writers over the last ten years don't like or understand).I know the character can be played as male, but I feel the nurturing and compassionate personality quirks and moments of vulnerability worked best for a woman.
I also really liked how she embraced and happily accepted her growth in power each time she found one of Zeus' hidden lightning bolts. I felt happy and admired her each time she got one after all the trouble she went through to get them.
