Just A Few Words

Writing this poem,
like a symphony of words.
Trying to tell your heart,
things you've already heard.

Like a broken record,
I thank God for you.
Sometimes when we're together,
I don't know what to do.

Whether I should grasp your hand,
or hold you close.
Whether I should give you space,
or make you laugh with a strange pose.

I don't know what to say sometimes,
on those days when you are most radiant.
When your smile shines brightly,
my wish is that your wishes could be mine to grant.

I am amazed,
by the beauty you deny.
So enchanting,
is what is seen by my eye.

I feel so incredible,
when you put your arms around me.
You hold me close,
and say that you love me.

So I wrote this poem . . .
