I wanted to learn how to make repeating patterns and used mushrooms for practice. I am very satisfied with this first attempt and am sure I will be making more patterns in the future. Fun note – All the mushrooms seen here can be found in the Pacific Northwest. Some of the types seen here are: chantrelle (cantharellus cibarius), morel (morchella esulenta), oyster (pleurotus ostreatus), puffball (vascellum curtisii), bird's nest (nidulariaceae), and one of my favorites (visually– not to eat!) verdigris agaric (stropharia aeruginosa).
