Backstory: Yaria Hotgo lived a life of tragedy before she became a Nobody--her tribe was massacred, her heart was taken, and she lost everyone and everything except her beloved sister. And just when things seemed darkest, she even lost her--to a passing Keyblader who thought nothing of striking her down. Though she rarely speaks of these things, the deep sorrow of her past and her craving for revenge is always lurking behind her chipper exterior.
Yraaxi, once found by the Organization, was an easy sell. They merely had to mention warring with Keybladers for her to absolutely leap at the opportunity to join them. Everything else they offer is the delicious icing on the cake, as far as she is concerned.
Personality: To the average person, Yraaxi is bright and cheerful, with sparks of fierceness and fire. She quite literally wears her heart on her sleeve (see notes below), so she is very easy to read. Unabashed in her enthusiasm and curiosity, she's eager to know more about her new tribe and very friendly with most people, especially those she considers her own. She has few qualms about asking pointed questions, and she is often uncomfortably honest, though she doesn't often go so far as to be hurtful if she notices a negative reaction. She enjoys friendly competition, and enjoys exceeding uncharitable expectations of her, but she doesn't take losses very hard--she'll just get the next one, you know. That said, she does have a vengeful streak a mile wide, and if you truly wrong her she will never let her anger die.
Notes:
Her element is fairly straightforward--she can summon paint of any color from either her hands or her weapon.
UPDATE: She can only control her own paint and she cannot do so without touching it, and but she can dry wet paint or re-wet dry paint at her leisure by maintaining contact with it for 3 seconds. Paint left on its own without contact from Yraaxi will dry up, crumble, and disappear after
15 minutes
It is easiest to summon paint from her hands, and she can do so nearly infinitely. However, it isn't very much paint at any given time, mainly enough to draw or write, and thus it is not very useful in combat unless she gets in very close, so she mainly summons paint this way for more recreational purposes, particularly painting her own face and body with extreme frequency.
UPDATE: It is more difficult to summon paint from her weapon, but she can summon larger quantities at once and at a longer range, making it extremely useful in combat. She can use this paint in two ways--on the ground as a slippery surface (
As a trained warrior of her Au Ra tribe, Yraaxi is both extremely experienced with and eager for combat. She was a spear wielder as a Somebody, and she still uses those skills with her long handled weapon. In particular, the non-brush end of her weapon is sharp enough to be used as a stabbing implement, so when she is not summoning paint through her weapon, she will usually flip it around and fight as though using a spear.
Yraaxi was a member of the Hotgo tribe, a recently massacred tribe that was known for their vibrant and frequently changing face paints used to represent their moods. She was killed during said massacre, and it was then that she became a Nobody. Though the Hotgo are long gone, and the Organization stands as her new tribe, she still carries on some of their traditions, particularly the face paint. She can remove and reapply face paint with even more speed now that she can summon paint on a whim.
