-The idea behind this scene was to put into perspective the size and scale of this structure. I wanted to let the light of the sun illuminate the cavern as well as the statue atop the pyramid. Before the structure in the foreground are the silhouettes of the exploration party.
-The pose and lighting of the statue would give semblance to divinity, as these changelings were very religious.
