I’m sorry I didn’t say I love you as often as I could have,
It wasn’t right of me to treat you like you were invisible when I was angry.
I regret the day I made the choice to argue a little longer than I should have.
I pushed it too far and now I’m alone.
You know that saying you don’t know what you have till it’s gone?
Well I understand that know.
And now I’m here here writing mediocre poems about how I made a mistake and I deserve a second chance
But here’s the plot twist
Here’s where I’m different from all the other losers you loved.
I’m different because I don’t want you back.
I didn’t and won’t ever really care about you.
I’m not gonna’ cry my eyes out
And I apologized because I wasn’t right
Not because I need you in my life
So you can leave, just go away
And I will have one less thing to stress about.
