Report: Experimental Hypnosnake Red
The Hypno-University has a hypno snake as part of its experiments. The origin of this specimen was Professor Charles (deceased) who obviously was influenced by the jungle book movie.

By cloning a massive python he created the required body mass for his experiment. The brain for the creature was taken from a student at the university who was deeply conditioned to believe they were always a hypnosis snake. Human vocal cords were transplanted along with the human brain to the giant python body and cyber enhancements made to the eyes to allow a hypnotic glow effect to be generated.

The resulting hypno snake worked perfectly and followed its programming to the letter, or we assume it did as professor Charles was its first meal, so unable to confirm the specifics of the orders given.

So how does it hunt? We send in a failed student every month to be the creatures meal, the snake calls out to potential victims, luring them in close to be coiled if they don't make the initial mistake of looking the creature in the eyes. If coiled it is rare they are constricted as the snake dislikes the taste of clothes, instead the victim looking into the creatures eyes is put into a deep trance.

The victim is then told to strip, before lying down to be easily swallowed by the snake.
