Description
As I said in the general Kawaii Senshi, High Card Bio , I'm giving each member a solo bio to further understand each character before the debut piece I got planned out. This one's for the fiery red headed High Card Spade! I thought it'd be a cool idea if the quintessential girl in red was a bit of an outsider to the setting as not just a tomboy delinquent type but also being half Japanese, half Hispanic american raised in the US before joining the others in Japan. So as an outsider, this character is the type who kind of questions the cliches you'd normally find not just in Magical Girl stuff, but anime/sentai stuff in general (like she'd be the one voting to crush the monster with the giant robot first if she were a power ranger). Name: Naomi Rivera

Aliases/Nicknames: Naomi Asahi, High Card Spade, and Spade.

Age: 17

Personality: Brash, tomboyish, tough, a little short fused, a bit of a cynic, smarter than she seems, tends to leap first and look later.

Likes: Rock music, steak, spicy food, motorcycles, chilling, being free to do things her own way.

Dislikes: Being bossed around, bullies, people talking trash, and roaches.

Background: Naomi Rivera was born in the United States, her father was Hispanic American while her mother immigrated from Japan. All was going well for Naomi's family until her parents began to argue and fight. Eventually when Naomi was 12, her parents divorced and her mother received full custody of her. That was the spark that lit the fuse for Naomi's rebellious attitude. Despite being a rather good student, Naomi began causing trouble and getting into fights with other students, as well as skipping class. This forced her to be held back a few years. Her mother, failing to support herself in the US, decided to take Naomi and move back to Japan, to which Naomi was not happy about. Moving in with her Grandma, Naomi would here stories of High Card's battle against the darkness. Of course Naomi thought these were all just stories...until that fateful day when she and a few others from her new High School were transported to meet Queen, the avatar of Light Magic. She revealed to the four girls that they were the descendants of the original maidens of High Card and that with King, the avatar of Dark Magic, returning they would become the next generation of her champions. Naomi became High Card's Spade and the "Defender of Courage and Spirit". She was apprehensive at first but after seeing the destruction that King's evil causes, Naomi knew she couldn't just stand by and watch. As High Card Spade, Naomi is the boldest of the team, often jumping into danger with a clenched fist and no plan. Deep down, despite her abrasive personality and tough as nails exterior, Naomi cares a lot for her friends and family and would do anything to protect them. Fiery attitude to match her power of flames, High Card Spade is always ready to knock around a few heads when trouble comes calling.

Powers/Abilities: Thanks to the Celestial Wand granted to every member of High Card, Naomi can fly, create force fields, has enhanced agility, durability and can purify anything affected by the dark magic and his forces. Spade's element is fire, which she can create and control however she wants, she can even make weapons from the flames to use on her enemies. Typically though, Naomi prefers to let her fists do the talking and she is a skilled hand-to-hand fighter thanks to the many brawls she's been in, but she does use her fiery power to enhance her punches. Out of all the current High Card members, Naomi is physically the strongest and puts that brute strength to good use. She also has some good knowledge on various motor vehicles, but favors motorcycles.
