A request by who wanted to see something where Layla is captured by a mysterious tribe of amazons on the island. I really liked the idea of this change up, seeming as up until now, Layla was always seen as the last of her people on the Forgotten Island, but now it turns out there were more all along. It was an interesting idea and I just had fun designing the tribe itself, including the newest character, Shaya the High Priestess! I also liked the idea of just an evil tribe on Layla's island that have some of the surviving humans entranced to be part of it. Enjoy!Exploring the ruins of what used to be a human village, Layla reminisces about her mother and tries hard to imagine what it was like when there was more than just herself here on the Island. She was about to leave when suddenly she saw something move into the darklands, the section of the island only known to be home to the most ferocious beasts, but this was no animal she'd seen before. No, this one was walking on its hind legs...like a human! Layla chases after the mysterious figure, she had to be sure, but suddenly she felt the sting of a dart in her neck and all became cloudy. Awoken in an underground cavern, Layla comes face to face with the new reality before her! She isn't the last human on the island...but the survivors are all part of a tribe of cultists that worships the malevolent deity, the Dark Serpent Tribe!
