Description
So Xar was made upon request for a short series of comics I called "Beauty and the Demon", where he hypnotized Princess Serene, who also debuted in that comic, to be his bride. I created Xar with the intent of him looking like a typical demon and that design came out pretty well if you ask me. I haven't used him too often though, partly because some of his pics and comics were linked to the requests of someone who will not be mentioned here, and have been deleted because of that. Still Xar is the kind of character who comes out to stir up trouble when you least expect it.

Age: Over 2,000 years old

Personality: Impish, loves to watch misfortune and chaos, has a silver tongue, laid back most of the time, and has a low opinion of mortals.

Likes: Making demonic deals, misfortune of others, fire, people doing bad things, corrupting others, and watching chaos and havok like it were a movie.

Dislikes: Goodness, people too clever to fall for his tricks, water, non-violent solutions, order, and being forced to be truthful.

Background: Xar is a demon who has lived his life tricking and causing mayhem for centuries. He can only come to our world by being summoned. Upon arrival, Xar will try to strike a deal with the summoner, whatever he offers has been known to come through but at a price. Depending on the individual (which admittedly is most of them) Xar will try to trick whoever makes a deal with him into doing something terrible or steering them in the wrong direction which leads to their destruction. Xar revels in pranks and his deals often lead to them. He's openly malicious towards mortals, but tends to see them as his playthings. He cannot be trusted, Xar is a master conman who almost always gets his way!

Extra: Being a demon, Xar can control fire however he pleases. He can teleport, leaving a puff of smoke behind and he can even use his flames to mesmerize his victims (which makes it easier for him to make the deal he wants). If a deal is struck with Xar, he has far more power and can practically do anything in the context of that deal. Do not make the deal, no matter what he offers.
