Okay. SO part of this alternate timeline thing for the setting of the game I am just brainstorming about for the sheer fun of it. I need your guys help with an interesting idea I have. So in this timeline with the Primarchs not turning traitor and some of them still sticking around, this brings up a interesting idea I had. With the worship of the Emperor as a God for them, how would the general population worship the Primarch as aspects for something.
An example would be Konrad Curze being worshipped as an angel that acts like a Judge to review the past actions you have made and see if you are worthy to enter this heaven like area, bring justice to evil or cruel people, prayed by the Arbeties to uphold the law and punish the wrongdoer while being able to be a sensible no bias person when doing cases. That is the mind set I'm trying to create. I have a few ideas for some of the primarchs.
Fulgrim would be, in short, the saint of arts and perfection. Elegance and beauty. That sort of thing.
Mortarion would be like Grim Reaper maybe, but also resilience, strength against disease, farming(Because it would be funny to think Mortarion being worship by farmers for good crops), steady resolve against the enemy, and the final pray to say before enacting exterminatus
Rogal Dorn as a protection prayer for making sure you are able to have your defense inbreakable, and for general protection for your house and for yourself.
Vulkan would be worshipped as the aspect for family. A healthy strong family that is able to keep on trucking despite the worries in the future and being able to be happy.
Ferrus Manus is prayed for technological advance or for survival of the fittest or being the ultimate warrior of flesh and bone and augmented with advance armor and weapons. The strongest survive or win. I guess Strength and faith in your flesh and blood, a rival to the Mechanicus replace all body parts with machinery.
Perturabo would be worshipped as the tinker or the advancement of technology god. Also as at the scholar maybe for at least prayed for peace on ones world or life. Also both he and Rogal Dorn are worshipped as the twin builder gods. Prayed by construction crews for their architecture to be strong, sturdy, and appealing to the eye.
Guiliman would be prayed as the diplomat and the political maneuverer. Worshipped by the more higher ups in society for good deals, good pacts between planets, and being able to be strong in their diplomacy skills.
Angron would be worshipped as something like a god of war by the military, being swift in battle, win the battle, yet keeping their determination to win the battle and not descend into a blood crazy fool who enjoys battle. Also very popular amongst the gang in the underlives, especially the gladiator fights or tournaments since he was raised in a gladiator environment and they pray for him to be able to win the fight.
Magnus would be prayed by the psychic races to help them built the confidence to control their power, build their power, and not let the warp consume them while not being driven insane or drunk with power. To act with self control, restraint, and being strong. Also worshipped by the scholars and the historians because of his scholarly teaching and conserving history over the years.
Sanguinius would be worshipped as an angel that pretty much guides you toward the Emperor and yet something along the lines of Micheal the Archangel too.
Lorgar would be worshipped as the prophet of the Emperor, spreader of the faith, and prayed by the priests to be strong in their faith, reject the temptations of chaos, lead mankind on a better path, and be very holy and pure while preaching his word.
Horus would be worshipped as the god of strategy, tactics, flexibility in battle, intelligence gathering, and an inspiration of every commander and general in the entire imperium. Every officer has the holy necklace of the Eye of Horus, and a mantra or pray is said before every battle or during, to achieve tactical superiority, being able to be a great commander, and use their fullest ability to crush the enemy.
And now we are moving to the Primarchs I am having some difficulty coming up with. The primarchs I have not thought up for yet are:
Lion El'Johnson
Jaghatai Khan
Leman Russ (Worshipped as some executioner? Its a start at least)
Corvus Corax
Alpharius Omegon
Would like some input needed and some ideas to help along the way.
