A Portrait of Preity Zinta. 
Edit: Fixed the shadow on the nape of her neck, some minor blending, added a border, resized the image, fixed her hair, almost.The thumbnails are not loading, my apologies. Also, sorry for appearing on the message centre again and again.

Been working on this on and off for over a month now. Decided to finish it today once and for all. Took a hell lot of time to do this. Original is quite a bit bigger than this. Used one of her pics from a newspaper to get the dimple right. Rest everything done from scratch in Photoshop with a, YES.. a mouse. The hair and the shadow on her neck isnt the best, my apologies for that. The source itself is about 80mb, tehehe. Sized, scaled and compressed for your enjoyment. A sort of unscaled version can be seen here . My first airbrushing in more than two years since the last one i did under my old pseudonym. My hands are aching as I type this. Hope you like it as much as i did (not) enjoy making this.

First of all I wish to thank you for making Preity Zinta's portrait and not Aishwarya Rai's.
I think there is only one thing in this image that will make Preity Zinta herself unhappy. She does ads for a leading shampoo and her hair(in this pic) is not that good.

Great work! What amazes me is the fact that you didn't use a reference. It looks really natural. I just adore the contrast. The entire piece has such an elegant, classic look to it. The softness bothered me at first, but it really doesn't anymore. I sort of like that quality, and the fact that this is an airbrushing shows me how almost flawless it is. Great work!

airbrush.... and photoshop. it's lovely, really. almost looks like a photoreal, but has that personal art feel. i like this as is; a photoreal that actually looks like the photo is impressive, but doesn't have the emotion this does. i'm glad it's Bw: it gives it a bit more personality.

my god. ive never thought of her as being drop dead gorgeous, the way most of the guys i know do, but here u've made her look AMAZING. u cant even tell its not a photograph. the hair looks wonderful, it doesnt need to look anymore flowy. her dimple is very well done mind u, but her eye lids are a bit too shadowed in dont u think?if u could lighten them then we could get a good look at her eyes.

wow that's frickin awesome, it's so realistic!! many including myself envy what you can do from scratch on the comptuer lol.
the only think constructive that i really have to say about this one is the fact that her part could be a little bit more realistic, it doesn't really look like she has individual hairs where there should be some, almost like it's one big mass....
very good picture though!!! i applaud your talents

RAH! thats an awesome peice, and i dont care about the hair prob you mentioned, I'd hate to see you have a stroke or something.... damn thats a perfect portrait. it looks like a real photo under just the tiniest bit of gausian blur.
