Wolf looking up. This is an early piece, at the time I was still trying to find my way with digital art.Reference pic used.
Method, block colours added then the dodge and burn tool used, the smudge tool was then taken over everything to create what I believed to be the best method for making fur at the time. This method I got from a tutorial either somewhere here on DA or from a digital art magazine.
I'd take this down but it's my most popular picture.
Believe me I cringe when I see this picture, I know how bad it really is, maybe one day I'll redo it.

You have photoshop CS3? Does that mean you have your computer working again?

Sadly no not yet, got a shot of an old laptop 1.2 processor with 224 of RAM so CS3 screams at me "NOT ENOUGH MEMORY" everything is slow.... So long as nothing goes wrong I may be able to buy a new computer next week or the week after

Why don't you use Photoshop 7 on it. I'm using a netbook to do all my work at the moment and it doesn't struggle with anything.
What computer are you thinking of getting? (if its a cheap netbook go for the Samsung N110, its awesome, just stick to using old software and it works as well as a laptop with Vista, if not better!)

Sadly the laptop doesn't belong to me so I can't load loads of software onto it, the harddrive is nearly full as it is...
I was planning to get a standard tower computer... not sure what the thingies are now but at least 2GB of Ram and one of those dual core processors.

Very cool, those aren't too expensive now. I would recommend more ram if you want to use photoshop, especially since your new computer will come with Vista pre installed. Vista needs at least 2gb of ram to run properly so more would be better.
Dule Core processors are nice, I have one in my other laptop, but I still love the quad core I have in my PC, but you don't really need one.

I'm going for XP professional again. I hate Vista.... I have tried and tried to like it but I'd rather throw the machine out the window than deal with Vista. Phil has to use the other laptop for me as it has Vista on it.... But yes I'll look into getting 3GB if possible

Thanks guys. Think it kinda looks like my dog more than a wolf but I'm getting there, still trying to get use to the tablet and I still don't have a new computer so I'm using a relatives OOOLLLLDDDDDD lap top
