I find it a little funny that the female trainer from Leaf Green isn't a legendary trainer like Red and "Blue". I'm going with a little head canon and alongside with Adventures. I feel that she is really Blue and "Blue" is Green. A little fact is that she was intended to be put in from the start but hardware limitations prevented that from happening. The very popular promo image of a girl with a Squirtle is her. They tried to make her design simple so that she would be in the game. Unfortunately choosing female wouldn't be available until the release of Pokemon Crystal. I find it interesting. I hope they do something with her. Her 3rd design is a modified Female Go trainer.
