Description
Hooksnout is an old dragon - older than most. The younger ones have taken wing and flown to lands further away with their caches of gold. Hooksnout stays because his treasure cannot be transported - it is the very land he resides in. With human encroachment comes valiant knights to slay the dangerous dragon. Hooksnout has dealt with them all.

Now, Sir Lancemore, who's only moderately redeeming quality is his "bravery," has gone off to do what so many other, more capable knights have tried - slay Hooksnout the Dragon. Comedy ensues.

This was a piece done has a kind of light-hearted exercise - something to clear out the cobwebs in my mind without having the pressure of having to be a spectacular finished piece. I think this pic benefits from that. I could go in and shade, but part of me feels the solid colors lend themselves to the piece.
