This is the first time I've drawn a person. I chose this model reference because I liked the somber and calm colors and her understated pose and expression. I've always been terrified of drawing people, as it can be quite easy to mess up. But, if there's something you're afraid of, you can always choose to come at it head-on like a challenge and see where you end up. Sometimes, you might find that you're able to overcome it.

Please be kind to yourselves, is all I can say after doing this. You may think your artwork looks awful and terrible and should be burned, but there will ALWAYS be someone out there that looks at your hard work and sees beauty. <3
