I hate to be the black sheep, but i really don't see anything oustanding about this. And quite frankly, it looks like there is very little manip'ing being done here. You mirror something along the diagonal? I also don't understand what it's supposed to be, if anything. And while a bit of crustiness can add to an images edge or feel, it just looks messy here. I have no idea what the definition of a photo manipulation is, but in my personal opinion it should at have focsued itself to some sort of final product, to something, and not the action of manipulation itself, atleast not in this case.

I like this a lot. The little thing in the middle can be seen as lots of different things, kinda like clouds, if you look at them long enough they can be anything.
