this painting marked my first real venture into illustrative art back in dec of 2016. i kinda gave up on it after a few days bc my understanding of natural light was complete shit back then and it really showed through my color choices. so i took a few months to study this subject and was able to finally carry it to somewhat of a finished state.

....unfortunately, a lot of other things now stick out to me that i'm too lazy to fix -_- probably shunting this one off to the scraps once i get some new stuff rolling.
