Description Ib is
Just a quick sketch I drew of Garry wearing a dress. The story behind it is I was jsut about to fall asleep when Ib's mum just walked into my head with an sorta look, and then said "*(^v^)* I think this dress would look good on you, Garry," and Garry was suddenly in my head looking kinda confused. I'm surprised I remembered the dress' design when I woke up.

I wonder if I'd seen it before...

I wanted to make sure it really DID look good, so I sketched this out in an hour ( -_-; ) and asked my mum. She said it looked good, but thought he'd be embarrased.

And I honestly thought that if I were to ever draw Garry in a dress, the skirt would be all poofy like those disney princess dresses to cover his lack of hips. Because he IS lanky.

Not shown: the zip that remains unzipped on the side because it doesn't fit him.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, check Ib out (it's a free game): [link]

I see. Think you need more muscle then? I've heard that even thinking about exercise can help.

Oh? Thinking about exercise?

Yeah. Something to do with the muscles acting a bit like you were actually exercising. It's not much, but it's a booster. The power of the mind can be pretty amazing. Otherwise we wouldn't have the placaebo effect or the nocaebo effect: [link]

Both work. And it makes me wonder how many people are ill purely because they BELIEVE they are ill.

Hm. I remember going to Malaysia once with my friends. Malaysia's pretty popular for their roadside makeshift stalls. My friends and I decided to have a meal at one of those stalls. One of us, though, was concerned about the hygiene stuff and everything, but we just continued eating anyway. I don't think that person enjoyed her meal very much, because a few days later, she was the only one who got sick, even though we all ate the same thing.

That's how powerful the mind is! Even if her worries were justified, worrying about it would have done her immune system no favours and put her more at risk. Or maybe she was unlucky and got the one bad bit.

It's kind of scary, now that I think about it. o-o Negative thoughts are bad..
It could be the latter. Poor girl.

On the other hand, there is the Placaebo effect, that sometimes means that sugar tablets are enough to improve someone's condition. As long as the one taking them thinks they are real. Which makes controlled drug trials a bit more inneffictive than they should be.

Yeah...

Kind of interesting. I might want to do one of these mind tricks on myself...
