Description I thought the previous species sheet was a little lack luster, so I added more to it, plus I will actually provide information- whoops I was lazy with the last post for these guys-

Basic Information ☆☆☆

Gem-Hoppers

Open species

comes in many different designs

7ft tall and 10ft long

Diet ☆☆☆

Rocks, Gem-Hoppers eat various minerals in order to turn the minerals into its gel.

Habitat ☆☆☆

They live in forests and in the plains

Anatomy ☆☆☆

Gem-Hoppers are made of a special gel, they have no organs or bones, which makes them incredibly malleable. This allows their bodies to look very different from one another. Unfortunately, their gel is highly sought after by magic users, which in turn has diminished the population significantly.
Gem-Hoppers have a gem for a head, which is the main source for keeping their bodies together. If this gem breaks, they will die, and no longer keep a stable form.

Gem-Hoppers can easily heal from injury to their bodies. They can either grow back limbs or fuse them back to their bodies. Magic users often attack their gems for this reason.

Gem-Hoppers have retractable gem claws and have very squishy paws. They also have a neck sack, which carries a strong toxin. This toxin is spat at opponents as a means of defense. The toxin can have many abilities, but the most common are poison, paralysis, and burning.

Abilities ☆☆☆

Retractable claws, toxic spit, and flexible bodies

Due to how flexible these creatures are, they often impress eachother by doing various acrobatics.

Mating/Babies ☆☆☆

These creatures dont actually need to mate with one another, instead they do a special move called mitosis. They split and form an identical copy of itself. Though this is known as a baby form, because they can only split so much. This baby form grows and changes and becomes its own copy over time. This all happens when the creature is under perfect conditions.

Facts

Gem-Hoppers got their names because they actually hop just like frogs and rabbits.

Their ear-like appendages can pick up vibrations within a 30ft radius.

Gem-Hoppers can jump 10ft in the air

Gem-Hoppers are scared to be alone at night, so clusters of them can be found sleeping with eachother.

Gem-Hoppers are very soft and make great companions.
