I commissioned CASF a while ago for this picture. And, stupidly, didn't ask for the source image so I could upload it myself xD;The seven main characters of my fanfic Dawn of Light versus one of their enemies, Tephra.
This may or may not be an actual scene, I didn't intend it to be before but Shrimp did such an amazing job on this ô-ô
I was gonna commish her for more later but she fell away from the fandom :c so, when I get my ass back in gear, you're gonna have to settle for art from me.

I assume it was Skylanders that caused CASF to fall away from the fandom, correct? Because, if you'll please the unpeaceful and volatile expression, I feel like glassing (that's a term from Halo) Activision for that (just trying to express my frustration upon them).

in her words she kind of grew out of it and the fandom itself became unappealing (mostly the fantards). might've also been the stress the tards put on her over her comic.
and yes, Activision should be glassed. but that's how they operate. as one of their employees said in an interview, "it's our job to take a popular franchise, suck the fun out of it, and put it back on the shelves for profit". as exemplified with them shutting down Clover and Sierra and stealing Okami and Spyro from their respective owners just to put out some half-assed cutesy idea to leech off the fanbases.

Activision pretty much stole them from Sierra and stuck them into Skylanders to leech off the Spyro fanbase.
Skylanders is a sad attempt to make money.

They developed THe Legend of Spyro, then Activision shut them down and pretty much stole Spyro from them.
not the first time either, they shut down Clover Studios, who made beautiful games, and stole Okami from them to release a half-assed baby version of Okami.
I admit, Skylanders is a nice concept. However, they had no business reforming Spyro as a goblin toad and tossing him in there. It would've been much better as an original series.

fortunately, I'm pretty sure Activision moved the Skylander away from Spyro to make it it's own game they will be able to make more money off of so it would technically not be a Spyro game, just one he guest stars in.
And if that's not true i am going to pretend it is.
