Description
Download for Zippack (WARNING: 21MB SIZE!)A few months ago i got a CD of Negima when I ordered some manga's, never looked at it, and i found this^^.
Just thought, why not share this with my Negima-loving-buddies^^.
Just UnZip it, click on one of the "programns" with the character you want and they will be sitting on ur windows^^.
Some character's can talk to eachother and you can change costums and such, by right clicking on them^^.
Warning, some voices of them are quiet annoying, but it only show up if u click on them^^.
Also funny to use in photoshop, they even show up there =.=!
Don't know wich catagory to place, if anyone knows please tell^^'

I sure do. Thanks for sharing, icetrix.
Didnt you ever consider doing a moving desktop widget from a flash of yours yourself (exported to multiple animated gifs for convenience), even with simple animations ?

I could.. but i am not that familiar with flash... only know how to use the timeline and to save^^'

And also... you know how to make a Mascot like this one =3?

Interested?
Flash could be used only to generate graphics and animations. Exporting to GIF or another transparency-enabled format would be desirable.
There are a few programs available to make "window sitters" (or desktop sitters). Following are a few programs worth trying otaku mascot might be the one you'd like, but you probably should try them all if you have the occasion.
A very complex window sitter could walk around, *jump between windows* (!!!), and do other visually pleasing tasks, but while not impossible, that would require a lot of effort. I myself never seen one that complex, even.
Well-known progs:
- Otaku Mascot [link]
(they also have a significantly large library of sitters uploaded)
- MaCoPiX for Linux/Unix (Linux only *and* in japanese) [link]
- XAyanami, one of the first window sitter progs (no longer available, it seems. old anyway)
Other ones include:
- ActWin32 from Elemental Soft (discontinued apparently)
- Wintop2 (discontinued too, it seems, so im not sure if later versions were made)
Both Actwin32 and WinTop2, despite "old", are still usable under Xp and Vista
