Nothing special. just some messing around with 2D... with some of Inception8's brushesAs always, this was put together with Photoshop, a couple Beastie Boys tunes, coffee & smokes

Your 2D kicks the same amount of ass as your 3D work no doubt I love the color choice and the fact how you manage to achieve such smooth and flowing shapes. Great shading as well... What can I say more

This is really cool, but man, you've got some serious anti-aliasing problems! BUT, since you rarely have problems in that respect, I'll let it go and comment on the rest of the image.
It's images like this that make me pleased to have added you to my devWatch. I get heaps of devWatch submissions each day, so it's great when something like this - so soothing and... blue - pops up. I've always been a big fan of white and blue so I really do love this piece. If only it was smoother and didn't have those curious black lines that *3dho mentioned... Very well done, could you pretty please try to fix the anti-aliasing and resubmit, I'd love to see how it looks.

You need to look at it full view or it doesnt move you, but i like the flow to it. reminds me of the window fan... kinda quite and unasuming yet vital. i like it.

this is really cool but you should soften up thoes blacklines at the start of thoes blade looking things they kinda stick out like a sore thumb =\
