Kenneth formally a Metro Cop was escorting Gordon Freeman and Eli Vance through the Borealis along with D.O.G, They were attacked by some Aperture Science Sentry Bots, He in a panic jumped through a Window into the Outside where the Borealis was coming in and out of different worlds. He landed in a world with Darkish Clouds but looked a bit cleared up, He started to look around until he heard something, Then suddenly he was Attacked and pushed up against the Wall, He looked and saw his Hands glowing with an orange hue, He looked and saw a woman coming out of the Darkness, He saw she had a Resistance Symbol on her jacket. He then noticed it was Alyx and called out her name, She was taken aback by this. She walked to him pushed her gun against his throat, He started to say that he came from another world and that he needed help. She didn't believe him for a bit until he mentioned Gordon Freeman. She then let him go free, Soon they went to Black Mesa West.
