After some conversation, the mermaids became acquainted. Stories shared between them were not as extraordinary as one might assume. The Twins had no experiences besides those able to be faced while pinned in one spot. Maggie had at least a greater breadth to her stories, but with no recollection of matters long past, she could only share the visual aspects of the ruined world around her. After a few hours, subjects to discuss grew slim, and it appeared time to find a resolution for the Twin's predicament.

"Promise you'll be back soon." Said the female, now more hopeful in her new friend.

"I'll be back as soon as I can find a way out for both of you." Maggie told the Twins, starting off to find a way to break the stop sign that pinned them to the seafloor

"Take your time, but please hurry" Added the brother with a laugh

As the Twins waved Maggie farewell, the sounds of the bustling sea once again filled the water. They were alone, together, again. Or so they thought...

This one is a little less than the last two, but I felt this was a fitting way to close this little section for MerMay. I'm really happy about the traction the last two entries have gotten and would like to say thank you to all who have liked this so far!
