Working with the center of this rose has been driving me nuts. I'm also not so happy with that shade of red/burgundy, but it's difficult to make things more vivid in Paint without making them bright.

This pattern doesn't tesselate, obviously, but it would be gorgeous in an open lobby or something. :3

Edit: I went back and messed with the center again with a fresh mind... I'm actually happy with it now. I still wish I could make it more vivid... *sigh*
