I find it interesting that the others are viewed as the same whilst the red apple is the only one that is different.
it i as though the red aple is SO different that the differences between the others is almost intangible.
is this how real life is?
I find it helpful to also analyze how other people are also diferent from each other. then I don't feel so strange.

I absolutely love this. Really I do. The simplicity, the meaning, the concept, everything... the viewer can take whatever they want from this and so many different emotions can be evoked. I would love to see this as a poster... I would love to see it pasted up on building walls or as a big billboard.

I used a Canon 350D with a 28-200mm lens,
I just set up on the floor next to the patio windows,
I put the apples on white paper, shot in RAW and then just tweaked in photoshop

Its a format of taking pictures, it means that when you put the image on the computer its not really been processed,
its in a 'RAW' format. When you upload the photos you use a program (I use Bridge which is a part of photoshop) and there you adjust the white balance, amount of shadows, contrast, saturation etc.
When you take a photograph otherwise and upload it it would already be saved as a JPEG or TIFF etc.
All of the settings would be the default settings, you could then adjust them afterwards.
