In case you were wondering why I haven't submitted much lately, this is the reason why! I was using Photoshop with a tablet to remake this picture! I know it doesn't look like much, but in time I'll be better at this! Practice makes perfect.Chao belongs to SEGA/Sonic Team.
Ed, Edd, Eddy, Bubbles, Blossom, Buttercup, and Octi belong to Cartoon Network.

the day cartoon network changed themselves and cancled the powerpuffgirl's and other good cartoon network show's . was the most , BIGGEST , MEANEST , and the most CRUELEST thing / betrayal i have ever dealt with in my entire life. i cried , told my mom , and even having some unfortanate bad thing's to happen at me at school , the time . and when the year or near the end of 2007 or 08 . i practicaly gave up on cartoon network , and well , basicaly maybe life itself . ever since 2004 my life have went into sad and depression with only some happiness . too many thing's just changed , and well , it's good to know that i wasn't the only one feeling this . i don't really have no one to understand that type of pain , except my mother . and even she knew that wasn't right . but she said the times are changing sadly . i never was and only sometimes will i ever will be happy with life again . but despite this , there is a cartoon , that does make sort of happy . and is giving me some hope . but i really don't look at it . as a cartoon network show .

I don't blame you. I started to give up on Cartoon Network around late 2007/early 2008 as well.

I don't know how is cartoon network with you because I'm actually living in Mexico, but here they just put new cartoons, a few old cartoons and movies. Doesn't sound that bad for us

That's similar to what they have with us. Except with a live-action show (they used to have a CRAPLOAD of 'em, but thankfully they aren't running anymore!), the older cartoons are either on at a time where a majority of us are at school/work and on at one hour on Fridays now, and all the new shows (except Regular Show) suck!

Know what's especially sad? I watched a video in response to Ben The Looney's 5th rant against Cartoon Network, & they said this.
1.Cartoon Network is trying to expand their audience.
2.People WANT Live-Action Shows on Cartoon Network.

The way by which they're going about it. By placing live-action shows on Cartoon Network, they're contradicting their own original function. It doesn't help that their live-action shows are effectively rip-offs of Discovery Channel's lineup.

I was more referring to trying to attract the 12-17 and 9-14 audience using shows like Adventure Time, MAD, and Thundercats 2011.

*sigh* I will admit I do sometimes miss my old cartoons on Cartoon Network at least that they still have decency with their stuff ( Chowder, Flapjack, Adventure Time, Regular show, and The Amazing World of Gumball. ) then Nickelodeon has. >_<;

This...describes it perfectly...I KNOW CN is TRYING to be experimental with new shows, but no matter how many reruns they give, the majority of the shows won't be as good as nearly ALL of the Cartoon Cartoons we grew up with...

That's because they came first, and you saw them when you were a kid, so your mind exaggerates the experience. The new shows are just as good as the old ones, you just can't see that because you weren't born with them.

...nooo even as a kid I hated Johnny Test. If anything, I only MILDLY liked it and grew to dislike it more and more as time went on. And I wouldn't watch Almost Naked Animals or Sidekicks for long as a kid.
And I know nostalgia goggles can really blur this vision in comparing these shows to past shows, but my opinion of those shows have already changed. Back then they were the best, but now I respect other shows like Doctor Who, Law and Order, and The Office, yet I still love these old toons because they're STILL funny.
At least we have Adventure Time, Regular Show, Gumball to save the network though, I had forgotten those when I wrote that comment, lol And I am PSYCHED for Dragons!
