Okay, I like it. My backgrounds still are very simple. Gonna do some traditional work and get a more diverse feeling for anatomy and backgrounds. I definitely feel a lot better posting this than what I did earlier. I found the perfect reference from Senshistock and will link it here so yes, please check their account out. I think in this case, the simple background is best, it doesn't draw the attention from the guy o 3o
And the pose is really great too! Even with reference, it's not easy to do foreshortening, like you did with his left arm and right thumb!
