Another of my personal more story telling illustrations..

I wanted to do a desert themed steampunk art work for a long while...

The concept was to combine the steampunk theme with the some what surreal..
And the colour palette was inspired by some of Salvador Dali's most famous art works.

Is she reminiscing the landscape behind her from her residence at home?
- or is she really at the scene and initiating a journey with all her bagage?
