In 4th year, Harry and Hermione dropped Ron completely out of their lives, realizing he was dragging Harry down hurting Hermione with every argument.When they become a couple shortly afterwards, Hermione finds a spell that massively fattens a witch over 7 years and has Harry cast it on her, to the joy of each of them.
When Voldemort is defeated at the end of 4th year(without Ron's stupidity, Hermione decided to hire the Goblins to track down the Horcruxes while The Unspeakables acted as Harry's hand) the loving couple went on to change Magical Britain for the better, making it a lovely place for muggleborns, creatures and witches.
Rumor has that Harry cast the spell on Hermione once again, right after the birth of their first child.
