2 years ago (oh my god time flies, let’s go existential crisis) my art teacher gave me this tiny sketchbook with the assignment to draw a portrait of myself everyday during the summer until the sketchbook was filled. It’s the first time I actually filled every page of a sketchbook although I didn’t draw everyday. I did draw almost every day, but it took me over 6 months to fill 80 pages so do the math.

It did challenge me to draw on bad drawing days and the results were surprisingly unsurprising. The drawings I made those days are not my favourite and many are kind of bad, but if you push through maybe you can still use it. As concept art or fix the piece another day.
