Description
As much as I appreciate architecture, I never developed a true ability to sketch or draw artistically as an architect should; it just has never truly appealed to me. I am and have always been a draftsman, thus my depictions tend to be precise and technical. This does not mean that I don't work to develop a more artistic skill, but my talent has always leaned toward the technical style and I have learned to appreciate it. My philosophy is "go with your strengths!" As much as I love the work of artists like Alan Lee and other amazing talents that I have come across over the decades, that is not where my own ability lies. Instead, I take my inspiration from these and other fantastic minds and make representations in my own style, and enjoy every moment as I see improvement as my style evolves into something unique over time.
