As far as I know, she was my very first OC! I know I had my one other oc Snow Diamond? but I think Aurora Shine is my first.

I created her around 2011, when I was 14, because I really loved Trixie and I gave her a little adopted daughter basically. Her story was that she was a little filly that ran away from home because her family was abusing her and Trixie's performances were the only thing that made her happy and became fascinated with her. After the events of Boast Busters, Trixie basically picks her up as her assistant and gradually becomes super attached to her. She's basically the Spike for Trixie. Aurora Shine was created before Magic Duel came out, so this was my imagined redemption for Trixie lmao

These were also not my original colors for her, the only colored reference I have of her makes her look a lot like Trixie. So I did some creative liberties with it.

I don't know what her story would be like with how the show went? In this au situation, Aurora Shine would stick by Trixie even while she was at the rock farm, and even when she was using the alicorn amulet. Eventually when Trixie returns to Ponyville, Aurora Shine would be with her as her travelling assistant (now better equipped at magic), and would move to Ponyville with her, sticking by Trixie in her shenanigan (now with Starlight as her other mom lmao). Aurora Shine would be enrolled into the School of Friendship after Twilight suggests it to Trixie, and would eventually earn her cutiemark (which idk what it would be yet, maybe like- light manipulation? or light shows??)

I think I'd add her to my next gen tbh, but we'll see.
