My main inspiration was Venn's recent art: venntris.deviantart.com/art/OC… I mean, just look at colours, those flowers
It's been a while since I submitted here fullbody so I tried extra hard
I was coloring this for whole Sunday (I started on Friday)!
At first I wanted to draw more butterflies flying around her, but listening music of "Etrian Odyssey" game series made me think of not-so friendly forest... Plus, recently I rewatched anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion" which made me want to draw something bizarre.Art by me

Is that embossed watercolor paper? Just curious. It really adds to the piece I think. Teoh Yi Chie, who I subscribe to on YouTube, is put off by paper with obvious patterns. I believe in some cases it adds appeal to the piece. Very beautiful art you've created!

As blown away as I was by just the line art, this finished version is spectacular. Humira is quite lovely, both shown well by her fancy and detailed outfit and also the kindness in her smart smile as she appreciates her new friend. Brains, compassion, beauty, and eclectic yet well-matched fashion sense.
The little garden spot in the woods is gorgeous too, full of life and textures and warmth; also, the edge of the outer well and the berm she's standing on, with the textures of the mushrooms up close and stones around the rim, kind of make me imagine that a dragon curled up for a nap here centuries ago and this is what resulted. The close by flowers with the "eyes" add to the sense, though so many other gorgeous textures and colors on so many plants make it feel like a Heaven sampler. Awesome design for the bird-of-paradise type butterfly too. Thanks for sharing the fun and awe-inspiring magic of this special place with this wonderful guide.

I enjoyed drawing Humira shoes and sock/tights(?) but I feel like I failed coloring her red suit (I dislike using red paint in general :T)
Drawing glasses is my weak point too, so I drew her profile to avoid drawing more of glasses than absolutely necessary >v>'
My first idea was to draw her sitting on branches up on a very tall tree, I wanted to draw something similar to this: vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/et… (its from game Etrian Odyssey 3) there were supposed to be more butterflies in the background.
But mushrooms made picture look very detailed, so I decided to draw sometihng more simple in area behind Humira. Btw, you are probably the first person who noticed those eyes down there
I like idea about dragon ^^ That makes me want to draw one now... Maybe after I'll finish remaining request-prizes from my list ^^'

Jest tyle detali, piękne tekstury, nic się ze sobą nie zlewa aaaaa
aż chciałabym być na miejscu Humiry w tym lasku, wygląda tak magicznie i świeżo
sama Humira też bardzo fajnie kontrastuje z tłem
i posłuchałaś mnie co to pokolorowania motyla, yay!

Cieszę się, że rysunek się podoba ^^ Przygotowuję się do wysyłki, czy mogłabyś mi wysłać w notce aktualny adres?
Cieszę się, że nic się nie zlewa... Nie wiem jak, ale cały czas myślałam, że Humira nosi żółty kostium i czerwony płaszcz, a przy patrzeniu na refkę taki zonk... Chciałam ją narysować z zielonym lesie właśnie żeby się wyróżniała z tła ^^' Miała później zmienić tło, ale postanowiłam zaryzykować i używać różnych zieleni zmieszanych z sepią i kolorem "morskim" (to się pewnie jakoś nazywa po angielsku...)
I cieszę się że posłuchałam,bo tą tęczę kolorowało się bardzo przyjemnie
Mam nadzieję, że oryginał też ci się spodoba

i'm especially fond of the colors on the butterfly creature. all those eyes make it seem slightly creepy but in a cool way

I like drawing and coloring yellow mushrooms the most
Venntris suggested to color butterfly by using gradient so I added clear water to paper and then quickly added colors of rainbow to make it blend ^^
