Did this as a final assignment for art class, in which we had to make a practice concentration theme and piece. Next year, we need to come up with a theme and make pieces according, then send em off. My idea is depicting ancient peoples, but showing them in very human and down to earth scenarios, for whenever we hear about ancient cultures, its always in such a stoic or dramatic manner. I wanted to do a more candid approach, one that shows how they were people like us! Here are two little roman girls playing with their dolls on a little street, laughing together. I tried to make it as historically accurate as I could, but don't be surprised if its not perfect!
