I feel like Yellow Diamond is given more crap than she deserves, and what I especially love about the latest episodes is that we get a glimpse of her relationship with Pink Diamond. The theories that Yellow shattered Pink just piss me off, so I had to try to convey how Yellow expresses her grief over Pink's death. Not everyone is going to be outward and open with their emotions like Blue Diamond. I think with each of the three diamonds we are going to receive different methods of coping with a loved one's death - for Blue we see a sense of displacement from the Diamond Authority - almost all of her screen time has been explicitly mourning Pink, and she has to be repeatedly reminded that she has the duties of a matriarchal deity to uphold. With Yellow we see emotional suppression - she addresses the fact that Pink is gone and that she misses her as well, but we only see her show any real emotion when she is trying to cheer up Blue and when Zircon accuses the diamonds of shattering one of their own. Since we haven't even seen or heard a sliver of information about White diamond, it's pretty hard to discern how she handles grief, but I personally feel that she might be similar to Yellow in a cold, hard, absence of emotion. However I hold any judgement until we see her for the first time lol

I agree, I don't think Yellow shattered Pink...for some reason I think, and this may be a bit of a jump, but I think it may have been White? Or maybe Pink accidentally shattered herself, idk...I guess time will tellΒ Β

I actually totally agree that it was White or herself. I think just assuming that it's Yellow is too easy, the Crewniverse never makes the lore that easy. I mean look at Pink herself, everyone's guesses of her appearance were completely off so it's probably going to be the same case for her fate.

Yes, because we know nothing about White, except she's probably the head of the authority. She didn't show up to the trial, and she hasn't made any sort of appearance or anything yet, so I think it might be her...or that Pink, being the reckless diamond I think she is, considering her having a bit of an explosive temper, I think maybe. In a little tantrum, she might have destroyed herself. And yes! They are doing a great job at fleshing out this plot and I cannot wait to see where it all leads!
