Dear Annieta, I have no clue!
I walked by accident into a traditional Indian celebration of "something" in the middle of US city. I was welcomed warmly, and me and my camera where painted right away in these wonderful colors! The whole energy of event was fantastic, as I hope my photo reflects.
I didn't need to know more. While it was clearly a very particular traditional celebration, it had rather universal spirit of joy and community. The latter aspect is what interested me.

Thanks for the info! But, as I mentioned - for me the knowledge of particularities of the event doesn't add to the meaning of the image (arguably, takes away from it)
