This was a really tough painting for me, in terms of rendering, but especially in terms of composition and the poses of everything in the painting. This is a painting of a start of an epic battle between human and undead forces... The princess, beautiful but brave and tough, rushes in front of her man and confronts the undead enemy.Related content

Nice pic! She's like a paladin come to smite the undead! The golden hair and halo of the sun alludes to the D&D god Pelor. Although she has one of the most intense expressions I've ever seen on her face! She looks rather fanatical!
Of course, a long day of dealing with zombies and skeletons might do that!
The horse looks as intense as its rider.
Also, speaking of skeletons, it is an interesting view of the undead in the foreground, seeing his armor, largely intact, but the back of the head and spine visibly bare, with only a skull with rotting strips and bare spine supporting all that!

Interesting work. I like the point of view and foreshortening on that horse.
But... I don't know... the way you draw this horse makes me wonder. I don't think horses are carnivor- *chomp* ... ... ... *drools* Forgot what me was saying, need have other brain half, work good. Me bleed out now, night!
