Description
Out of all the House Robots, Dead Metal underwent the most change over the years. Originally, he had little armour and a scorpion tail-like saw arm, but it was unreliable, so it was replaced for Series 2. The new engine took up more room, so his shell was redesigned, giving him more armour. For Series 3, the saw mount was redesigned again, giving him his iconic look, and he remained mostly the same for the rest of the show's life, with only mechanical changes in the later series. For the new series, only Sir Killalot has had a more drastic make over. The new Dead Metal is bigger, like all the House Robots, but he's now got a lower profile, a bigger saw, and a new paint job. He also has a shark fin now.
