One of these days I'm going to make a list of which robots gave me the most trouble to build. The best thing about this model is that it's only 14 pieces, making the smallest robot I've made.

This is S3, short for Sting 3, which debuted in Series 5, irreparably damaging Plunderbird 5 in it's first match. It got through to the first round of the semi-finals, but lost to Bigger Brother. It won the loser's melee, but then faced Razer to go through to the Grand Final. It didn't win.
It matched this performance in Series 6, again reaching the second round of the semi-finals, this time flipped out of the arena by Firestorm 4. S3 made one last appearance on Robot Wars in Extreme II, during the All Stars tournament. This time it had anti-flipper plates attached to the weapon housing, but these actually led to it's defeat at the hands of Firestorm 4 and Bigger Brother. The plates prevented it from landing back on it's wheels after it was flipped, meaning it was left drifting in circles, until Bigger Brother finished it off by flipping it out of the arena.
