I was going to release this later, to avoid uploading back-to-back couple pics, but I don't think I will submit anything for another week, so I put this one up (juuust finished!) to keep up an update.
The coloring is sloppy, sorry! That's why I did that blur effect to kinda, you know, have the fine details obscured. XD I actually tried to make this one look like an anime screenshot, buuuut it didn't work out. Darn!
Yes, it is for the ShadAmy fans! Not quite as popular as ones like SonAmy, KnuxRouge, or others, but I think they are a unique couple. I separated the two in this image, because maybe this is before they make a nice, unexpected encounter, or maybe they are actually looking for each other, I dunno! I just hope you all like it, even if you do not support the couple.
(I made the image's open spaces gray, to make it look "transparent" when you viewed this on deviantart's ugly gray pages. XD)

My favorite Sonic couple
The softness actually suits the setting really well. Since they're in a field, you associate it with being warm and comfortable, and the soft coloring and line art is very fitting.
The hands are really nice! I've always had trouble with hands.
I think their expressions also help convey the emotion of the picture, as well as their respective personalities. Shadow looks confused, unsure of what exactly he's feeling/looking for, and Amy looks bright and optimistic about everything. She knows it'll turn out alright.
I'm really fond of this. n.n It's a really pretty piece.
