My first ever full-color work using a tablet. I FINALLY got to play Sonic Colors. The start of Act 1 of Planet Wisp, where Sonic runs through the flower field in momentary serenity, was just so beautiful! I immediately restarted the stage just to see the beginning again, and knew right away I'd have to draw a rendition of it sometime. Here it is! Obviously the actual stage is much more detailed and beautiful, as I left out much of the different flora that was shown in the game, as well as Eggman's machinery/towers.Enjoy! I really love the attention to detail in this picture. I'm not sure if it was deliberate, but it's also an excellent application of the Rule of the Thirds in art composition.

Thanks for your kind comment! I looked up what "rule of thirds" was and realized I did hear of it long ago but never distinctly had it in mind when drawing, so indeed this was only an accidental fulfillment of that rule... No credit for me, lol!

Long time no talk! And thank you! I've been using a mouse the whole time until just 3 months ago, when I finally purchased my first ever tablet. It was cheap but works good enough for me!

Lol yeah, I've never had or used a tablet until this year when I finally bought one. It is still definitely possible to use solely a mouse though! Obviously it takes longer and requires a lot more patience and a rigid hand, but somehow I managed haha.

Most of the time I use Photoshop, and sometimes they're just pencil lines.

The Act 1 of Planet Wisp is for sure something really bewtiful.
